Hot World Cuisine

Hot World Cuisine is a buffet based on Paisley Road in Glasgow. This buffet has food from countries across the world, including Chinese, Indian, Italian, and Pakistani.

Interior

The restaurant had a beautiful interior, with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling that lit up the restaurant, graffiti artwork on the walls of different cities, and cultural statues, giving it a very luxurious and authentic atmosphere. The restaurant was quite spacious so there were many tables, allowing them to cater for different sized groups and families, giving the impression that it is a popular restaurant.

Food

The food, however, was average. It wasn’t awful, but at the same time, it didn’t wow me enough to go back, unfortunately. I decided to have vegetable gyozas, fried rice, chicken curry, and popcorn chicken. The chicken curry was probably the best part of my meal, however, I wasn’t a big fan of the fried rice as it had a weird taste to it, similar to microwavable rice, which is always a hit or miss. The vegetable gyozas were cold, which was disappointing, as I reckon they would’ve tasted amazing had they been warm. Finally, the popcorn chicken tasted very bland and dry. At the end of this, my stomach was sending me warning signals, so I guess you could say it was far from the best food I’ve ever had from an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Prices

Before eating at this restaurant, I was under the impression that it was £9.99 per person, however, after receiving the bill it came to a total of £16 per person, excluding drinks. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend Hot World Cuisine, as there are cheaper and better buffets around Glasgow in my opinion.
